MUSA KASA news update 1/2022!
Greetings from snowy(!?) Helsinki!
After the hectic pace of updates and releases last autumn, I’ve decided to take things a bit more chill
this year. But worry not, there’s a lot of cool n’ interesting stuff in the works for 2022 as well!
= some singles, EP’s, hopefully one or two full albums and maybe even live concerts with some of the projects, hot damn!
MUSA KASA news:
- I’ve been working hard on a new prog-rock album project for the past four months. The music and lyrics for the album are basically done, arrangements almost finalised and we’re soon ready to start the recording sessions!
Progressive rock was the first thing that really got me attracted to music, and needless to say, I’m pretty dang excited to be able to work on this somewhat autobiographical & loosely conceptual collection of “retro-futuristic” progressive rock.
- In addition to the slow n’ steady constant stream of streams on Spotify, both AAVA and Joni Raikaslehto InFusion have been featured several times on the airwaves of the Finnish jazz-oriented radio station, Groove Fm! Really cool!
- Kos Mos is re-activating once again! We’re back in the rehearsal room shedding some seriously cool tunes, both new and old and hopefully You will be able to witness the “kosmic prog-pop” of Kos Mos live some time in the near future!
- Due to a long streak of unfortunate events and radical changes in the personal life situations of the members of the group, the nordic jazz quartet AAVA has entered a state of indefinite hiatus. We are extremely grateful for all the fans who’ve been following us through our journey and been showing genuine interest towards our music. Thank you and farewell (for now, at least)!
