Nordic jazz quartet AAVA releases their 2nd single

Nordic jazz quartet AAVA releases Decisions as the second single release leading up to their eponymous debut.

This bombastic, multi-faceted album opener written by Joni Raikaslehto provides an interesting contrast to AAVA’s previous single, modern jazz ballad Mateno En Esbjerg.

Decisions is describing musically the hectic urgency of making big, life altering choices by swiftly navigating between contrasting grooves and moods. The tune eventually settles down to a sense of resolution reminiscing of that peaceful feeling, when you know you’ve made the right decision.

In addition to giving another glimpse into the diverse compositional approach of AAVA, Decisions also features thoughtful solos from Raikaslehto (fretless bass) and Mattias Lind (tenor saxophone).

Decisions available now in all major streaming services such as Spotify & Youtube

Debut album drops 1st of October, so stay tuned!
