Quicksilver Quartet releases the first tune from their studiolive session

The newest project under the MUSA KASA label, Quicksilver Quartet offers the first audiovisual glimpse of the groups overall sound & vibe.

The group was formed just before the second wave of covid-19 hit the world, so when gigging was out of question, “QQ” decided to keep rehearsing and do some filming & recording instead to keep the project going.

The release in question is a tune called Consistency and it consists of a unconventional mix of rapidly changing sections/grooves but still keeping things consistent and flowing naturally.

In addition to the complex & playful head, the recording features solos from the groups “mastermind”, Joni Raikaslehto on electric bass and Snæbjörn Snæbjörnsson on tenor saxophone.
